skin & hair rejuvenation
Looking for HydraFacial in Townsville? PAUSE Cosmetic Skin Clinic offers HydraFacial as part of its skin and hair rejuvenation treatment options. HydraFacial is a professional treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation and hydration to support refreshed-looking skin. It may help with concerns such as dryness, congestion, texture and dullness depending on the individual. A consultation helps confirm whether HydraFacial is suitable for your skin.

LED Light Therapy
LED (light-emitting diode) phototherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses selected wavelengths of light as part of an individual skin-care plan. It comes in different types, including red light and blue light, which are sometimes used in combination. At PAUSE Cosmetic Skin Clinic, treatment selection is based on your skin, concerns, relevant history and goals, and individual responses vary.
Hydrafacial
A HydraFacial is sometimes called “hydradermabrasion” because it combines microdermabrasion-style exfoliation with hydrating serums. It’s a non-invasive treatment known for its three-step process — cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate — using a mechanised handpiece to cleanse and exfoliate the skin while delivering serums selected for your skin. Individual results vary, and your clinician will discuss what’s suitable for your skin at your consultation.
HydraFacial is a non-invasive treatment that uses a mechanised handpiece to cleanse and exfoliate the skin while delivering serums selected for your skin type, combining several steps – cleansing, exfoliation and hydration – in one treatment. Individual results vary, and your clinician will discuss what’s suitable for your skin at your consultation.
The procedure is completed in three parts:
Your Registered Nurse uses a vortex-style wand to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the skin, along with a gentle peel to help exfoliate and resurface the skin.
Your Registered Nurse uses a vacuum-like attachment on the wand to help extract debris from the pores.
Your Registered Nurse uses a pen-like attachment to apply a moisturising serum with antioxidants.
A HydraFacial is sometimes followed by other skin-care treatments, such as facial volumisers or LED light therapy. These are considered add-ons and are not included as part of the HydraFacial.
Each HydraFacial session usually takes under an hour. Recovery varies between individuals — most people are able to return to their usual activities soon afterwards, although temporary redness, sensitivity or other reactions can occur. We recommend avoiding exfoliating treatments for the first couple of days afterwards, and your clinician will talk through aftercare suited to your skin.
Ultraforma MPT
The Ultraformer MPT is a non-surgical treatment that uses ultrasound technology to target the deeper layers of the skin. It is designed to address the appearance of skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed — suitability, expected outcomes, any risks and recovery are discussed during your consultation, and the treatment is not suitable for everyone.
Ideal Candidates for Ultraformer MPT include:
- Mild to mild-moderate skin laxity
- Moderate thickness dermis & subcutaneous fat layer
- Mild to moderate jowls & lower face laxity
- Little to no sun damage
Unsuitable candidates include:
- Patients with thin skin (dermis, fat layer or both)
- Patients with super heavy skin (really thick fat layer)
- Those with excessive sun damage; repair collagen before trying to contract it
- Those with moderate to severe skin laxity (surgery gives the most predictable results)
- Patients with low facial volume
Ultraformer MPT may be considered for suitable clients looking to address the appearance of fullness beneath the chin

Tixel is relatively low-pain.
